Imagine standing in your church auditorium looking up at a near IMAX sized screen that you just finished installing and wondering what you’re going to put behind the words Sunday after Sunday. This is the situation Daniel Hawke Roberts found himself in nearly two years ago. After searching high and low for quality HD video backgrounds his searches came up empty. Sure there were the usual abstract wormholes and such, but why waste valuable worship experience space on wormholes?

A year later he finally began a project that would take yet another year. Create the worlds best set of worship backgrounds period. All HD. All live-action. Honestly, with more than ten years video production background and having worked with many Dove and Grammy winning artists, he figured it would take little more than a month. He soon realized this would be a much larger project.

One year and one month from the time he started, the first twenty-five were done. Much like Thomas Edison inventing the light bulb, Daniel had found many “fine videos” that didn’t make “remarkable worship backgrounds,” to put it in his words. More than 600 to be exact.

Finally, with the first twenty-five in hand, he decided to skip the traditional church media stores and pass on the savings directly to the churches he created them for in the first place. The best worship backgrounds in the world, all purposefully shot and professionally color graded, for less than $4 apiece. Now that is remarkable.
